Blackberry Q5 prices has slashed to 20 percent, a price level decreased by INR5000

Blackberry has out-rightly wanted to explore more markets in India, it seems like Blackberry has make their pants up from the very begining of 2014, by slashing the prices of phone by 20 percent.



Calling it a 'New Year Bonanza' BlackBerry has recently launched an offer which gives consumers an opportunity to buy the same Q5 handset at the discounted price of Rs. 19,990 which is Rs. 5,000 lesser than the initial price tag.

The Q5 comes with a 3.1 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels and 328 PPI pixel density.


Further, it runs on BlackBerry 10.1 OS and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The handset houses a 5 MP rear camera whch is capable of shooting at 2592 х 1944 pixels quality and is equipped with autofocus and LED flash.

There is also a presence of a front facing 2 MP camera. Talking about connectivity, BlackBerry Q5 features a single SIM, 2G, 3G, GPRS, SPEED, WLAN, Bluetooth, microUSB v2.0 and NFC.

Other features include 8 GB internal storage capacity, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card and a non-removable Li-Ion 2180 mAh battery that offers a 12.5 hours of talk time on 3G and 10 hours on 2G while the standby time rates at 14 days on 3G. Meanwhile, the BlackBerry Q5 is available in three colors, red, white and black color variant
